The Little Sweep

In association with the Windsor Spring Festival, Music at Bray mounted two performances of Benjamin Britten's opera for children, The Little Sweep. Directed by Sallie Ward (the recent director of Noye's Fludde) and with sets designed and built by Ian Murray, the performance not only involved professional singers and 6 children in the principal roles, but also the newly formed St Michael's Community Choir,
a group of fifty strong local people from Bray and the surrounding villages, who came together to celebrate their love of singing and community participation.
